My children mean the world to me.
There is so much that I want to give them: the best of everything. I would love to be a Pinterest mom with the sensory tables made of reclaimed pallet wood and the morning snacks consisting of reverse osmosis, rain barrel water and hummus from beans grown in my organic garden.
But, it's not possible. I'm not a Pinterest mom. I'm not perfect. No one is perfect. There aren't enough hours of the day or enough pennies in my pocket to give my children all of that. I can only give my best, but, that's all my family expects.
Even when my best doesn't feel good enough for me, I am loved and appreciated by them, despite my imperfections ... And so are you.
Besides, you might be more capable than you believe.
